On the 29th of November, Polimi Motorcycle Factory (PMF) has delivered the 1st MS1 Milestone – Team Plan, marking the beginning of our VIII MotoStudent edition.
The Team Plan, focused on several aspects of PMF, starting from a thorough overview of its structure.
Team structure
Tasks of each organizational unit were highlighted together with skills and expertise of its members. This was done through the use of some neatly designed dashboards.
HR Dashboard
A large portion of this Milestone was then dedicated to the team goals for the 2024/2025 edition, spanning from performance to reliability, from branding to sustainability. Each of them was assigned to one or more departments and accurately tracked through the use of several Key Performance Indicators (KPI), ensuring proper project management. Lastly, a number of precisely structured Gantt diagrams were presented, a valuable tool to monitor the advancement of each project and granting an adequate monitoring of all the team activities throughout a two year project.
Extrapolating from the Milestone, we wanted to convey the message that PMF is a solid organization, determined to improve and innovate:
“In the 2024/2025 season PMF wishes to stay loyal to its values and continue to improve in every single area of the team. After being successful in the last edition of MotoStudent, being 2nd overall, the goal can now only be to become the best and win MotoStudent.
This will be done by working on the main weaknesses identified during last season. The organization is also committed to introducing innovations, as this is the spirit in which PMF intends MotoStudent, where students can apply engineering in its essence. Finally the team has set out to keep establishing itself as a renowned organization, showing dedication and professionalism: We see PMF as a true company and motorsports team, but most importantly a big family and We want to deliver this image also to the rest of the world.”
